Took me over 3 years to get another dog after the loss of Joe Cocker. I had him 16 years. So when I decided it was time, I picked a puppy and decided on Little Leaf Animal Hospital because I pass by it everyday to and from work. They treated us like family! They explained everthing clearly and it felt like they all had a real stake in my pet. I found a great place and staff here.Looking forward to a very long relationship with you, since I got myself a puppy.

I have taken both of my dogs to this place and don't want to go anywhere else now! Dr. Betsy Oesch was very kind and gentle with my dogs, which are like my children! The techs were great as well and the ladies at the front desk were very warm and inviting. Each time either the doctor or tech called me to see how my baby was doing and to make sure they were getting better. I will continue to take my babies there and would highly recommend them for an emergency or a regular vet visit.

These people are amazing. I have never had a bad experience here. They are very knowledgable and honest. They discuss options with you and provide estimates prior to doing anything to your pet, giving you, the pet owner, the power of info and input. I've taken them cats and dogs. My most recent had to have emergency surgery and the staff was so caring and gracious, tending to him immediately and staying long after hours on a Friday night to care for my pup. I highly recommend them and can't thank them enough. Hoping my boy makes a full recovery from his surgery and is smiling and wagging his tail again in no time. With their oversight and compassion, I am completely optimistic. Thank you so much everyone!

About our Practice

Boat Club Road Animal Hospital has been part of the Fort Worth community since 2001. What started as a single clinic has grown into a trusted name in veterinary care, expanding in 2017 with the opening of our second location, Little Leaf Animal Hospital, near Haslet. Both locations offer spacious, state-of-the-art facilities with in-house labs, full surgical suites, and pet resorts on-site to provide complete care under one roof.

Our practice is led by Dr. Louisa Martin, originally from Scotland who brings a global perspective and lifelong passion for animal care. Inspired by her grandfather’s love for animals, she studied zoology and veterinary medicine in the UK and spent time working in wildlife rescue centers and helping with animal relief efforts after Hurricane Katrina. In 2012, she purchased Boat Club Road Animal Hospital.
